So i finally got the opportunity to try kiting last nite during a full (almost) moon. Seeing was actually pretty easy once my eyes adjusted. It was awesome, i couldn't believe that i could make out the colors of my kite. The moonlite shining off the kitelines was pretty cool, as was the kite's shadow gliding around like a ghost on the snow. The snow itself was very hardpacked and fast and the winds were cranking so i used my 6M Access since i didn't want to get overpowered out on a field with a brushy fenceline and a few other hazards. I coulda stayed out there all evening but eventually it clouded over and winds died a bit. It was a great time and i think it's something every kiter should experience.

We tried this last weekend after the students were done. Only we had no wind. We put in our best effort though. It was hard to see your lines. I tried to fly Pablo's crappy 13M Fenzy! haha... turns out it was just a bridle snag.. or so he told me. Wish we could have got moving around more though. Full moon on the white lake is pretty bright!

Yeah I was pretty stoked. I had no problems seeing anything before the clouds moved in. Friday nite I just xc skied (no wind) and it was sooo nice. It was super bright out, i was praying the wind would come up, but it was dead calm. I Can't believe I kited for nearly 3 years before doing this.

I pretended to get a session in on Saturday night while Aaron was fighting with Pablo's kite, but I was really just skating with my skis while I held onto the kite! Super bright moon was really cool and so quiet. It would have been nice if the temperature and the wind were 10-15 higher!
