There can be only one! I'll chop heads off at the Gathering. Funny, everytime I hear people talk about The Gathering, all I can think of is Highlander. Watch your head Rick!

Back in the homeland and only 2 foils. Drat. Last weekend I did bring Molson. Do candians even drink that? My old canadian roommate always had to have Sleemans and Tim Horton Doughnuts.. together. And a canadian flag in the window. Do you have one hanging up Scott? Come on.. I know you do. Or a wardrobe of Roots clothing with a big maple leaf?

At any rate, Jim N made sure to point out we looked like Canadians with our foils and canadian beer. Wish you could have been there to make it authentic!

With the wind direction it looks like Garrison is the best spot for the race. I mapped out what the race it going to look like. 2 laps with around a buoy that is slightly upwind of starting buoys. Looks like it will be fun! They bumped up the forecast again!

The Racers meeting will be at 10am near the water in garrison. We will start running heats as soon as the wind is high enough to get everyone moving.

Sat. was great smooth winds at Malmo with 12-13m. kites. Today (Sun) should be spectacular. Jenn, the photographer should also be there.

I hope they're making this with low lift, kinda like a buggy kite. I don't think you're going to hold the power down with the board, but I'm not a SUPer--maybe you can.
I think I'll stick to my depowerable kites for now--unhooking once in a while is enough lack of depower excitement for me!
